Petrophysical analysis of wireline data from this high permeability, high gravity, high energy clastic reservoir estimated residual oil saturation (Sor) of approximately 7 %. SCAL capillary pressure measurements and the above Leverett J-Function analysis convinced a skeptical reservoir engineering staff that very high recovery factors and, consequently, low Sor, were possible. |
